The Writer’s Diary: Elements of a short story
Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (taught outside in garden)
Creative writing is a form of therapy, but what if you took a simple story and made it into a project of passion? This course is designed to solidify the tone and style of your own creative writing while having fun cultivating a new piece. Channel your thoughts and create short stories with dynamic dialogue or comedic flare. Captivate the reader with something they’ve never read before. After all, stories are like snowflakes- no two are the same. Class is held outside in the garden for social distancing. Please bring writing supplies you are most comfortable using, whether that be a scratch pad and pen, journal, laptop or tablet.
